Rain

The delight of Schoodic Peninsula on Schoodic Point; finding iris blooming while the rain falls in fat drops.

My camera has become a rabbit trap.
Take a ride. Take the rabbit trap.
Wife in the car calls out,
"You're crazy! You know that?"
Running on the wet descent, through the downpour,
Maybe the rain will help me to see,
Under that shadow a light,
A pattern of stones that feel like an answer,
Rush back, compose apologies,
Oh yes, later, don’t forget to check the trap.
